Before I write a review for this product, I would like to correct an error that I noticed when asking questions about this product. Someone explained that they were disappointed that there was an error on the dial. The mistake is that he uses iiii instead of iv to indicate the position of "4" on the face. It's not a mistake. Every dial I've seen or can think of uses iiii instead of iv. It's a tradition that goes back centuries. The reason for this is a bit unclear, but it seems like there are 3

I bought the watch as a gift for my husband. When I received it I set the time and wound it daily according to the instructions - no more than 15 wraps. The clock ran faster than two minutes in 48 hours. It is unacceptable in our time when even inexpensive clocks are supposed to show the best time. But maybe I've loosened up a bit.

There is something cheap and flimsy about the cover and the overall weight of the watch, but it feels solid and runs well enough, perfect for people who have to give up smartphones for work. It's more fun and easier to read than a wristwatch, although a digital watch is still easier. With a digital watch, however, you don't get a highly visible complex movement. You can watch it move and listen to it for a sense of accomplishment you won't get with newer watches.

A beautiful watch worthy of a five star rating but I have an important caveat. The center of the watch is black, and the black hour and minute hands don't reach the Roman numerals. This makes it very difficult to read the time. I wanted to use this watch so special. because of the mechanical function and the beautiful design, but unfortunately my old eyes don't see it as a watch that I can actually use. I suggest using the zoom feature to see what the dial actually looks like before purchasing.

I bought this for stage production about a year ago and it still works. It is very good for its price and arrived quickly. If that's what you're looking for in terms of quality, try something more expensive. But if you need something reliable and cheap, then this product is for you.

This is a wonderful antique style watch with chain. Holds up well after wrapping. Great for the man who wears a vest over his shirt to tell the time at work or around town.
