As someone who has pierced and tattooed their whole life, we've all heard that piercing guns are unsanitary and not a good choice for people who like "real piercing done right". . went a little crazy during the pandemic and decided 15 years after getting pierced on one side that I was going to pierce the other. People who say it broke might just need to put it back together. I pushed the mechanism down on my own once just to see what the action was like before doing it to myself and overall I felt like it really wasn't that bad. I think aligning the angle with the other nostril piercings was the hardest part. It also says it's 20 gauge, but I was able to put on 18 gauge jewelry right after. Definitely not something you want to use for all piercings, maybe just the main ear. and Claire doesn't. Overall great value for money. I'm not a fan of this nose piece, when you pierce it I found it long for my nasal cavity and very narrow which is understandable. Immediately afterwards I swapped out the jewelry for something sterile, although I wouldn't advise others to do so unless they know what they are doing, and even then proceed at their own risk and peril. it's clean!
