Nice microphone stand! Does the job and packs easily for a gig. I mainly use this for home recording, but it's really nice to be able to use it and move it around. The adjustable height is also useful for different heights. I give 4 stars instead of 5 for two reasons. First, the tripod's three legs wobble a little even when the screw is tightened as tightly as possible. It's not that bad, but it's noticeable, especially if you accidentally hit it while recording or if it has an acoustic shield and microphone. With heavier objects, the legs become a little unsteady. Second, the 3 legs snap into place. Those legs show a few scuffs the more you lock and unlock them. Signs of wear were already visible after the first lock/unlock. Aside from those two things, the mic stand does the job! And at a pretty decent price!
