This works by multiplying the signal from the pedal to the motor, making your pedal more responsive. This is great when you don't want to press the accelerator all the way down to get full response from your engine. For example, with the right setup, a half-press on the throttle feels like bottoming. This makes automatic switching easier or more difficult when using Eco, depending on the F setting. I don't recommend setting it to F3.9 (max race mode) and driving out of your driveway for your first test. That surprised me! Start with F1.5 and you will notice the difference without the possibility of accidentally starting your mailbox. Gradually move forward. I was hoping this would help my 2013 Dart 2.0 Automatic be more responsive on the fountain pen line by overriding the signal from the pedal to the motor, but it doesn't. Not the fault of the products. None of these options unlock a higher signal or anything like that. I had to try. 😄 I like driving F2.5 for purely automatic driving around town, but I've had 99,000 miles to get used to the way my car shifts with the pedal. This product isn't for me, but it does what it's supposed to do. very good for a fraction of the price of other throttle response regulators.
