Not as bright as Super Flash taillights. During the day, for example, it would not be so easy to see. But if you're less hardcore and want it mostly in the dark, it's great. It has several different flash modes and is also constantly on. -1 star for placing the button on the back of the device where it is not easy to press once installed. Someone just lazily redesigned the other taillights instead of redesigning the outer main cover so that the button was conveniently located. I can still turn it on and off, but I can only reach the button with my fingertip; it's just not very conveniently located. It's mounted on a reinforced Bontrager brace.
