Review on πŸŒ€ Tigi Bed Head Foxy Curls Contour Creme 6.76 Oz – Define and Enhance Your Curls with Tigi's Finest by Melissa Thomas

Let the product dry on the hair and then "scrunch " it to soften the curls.

BUYER WARNING: Revain have two different Foxy Curls products and they are VERY different. Some sellers have not updated their product photos so you may not get what you think. This review is for the WHITE Cap Foxy Curls. I sent back the one with the green cap so I can't comment on this product. I've been using this product for years and absolutely love it. I am a white female in my 40's with long thick curly hair that can be curly if not tamed. I have tried almost every product over the years and this is the only one that has worked for me. I apply it while my hair is damp (almost dripping). This is of great importance for the end result. I wear it quite a bit as my hair is very thick. I even put it under my hair. I've had to work on the amount I'm using. Too much and it looks like crap. Not enough and it looks like crap so you have to find the amount that suits you. After my hair is almost dry, I "twist" it up. It is very important. Some reviewers say their hair becomes brittle afterwards. And yes it is, but I gently run my fingers through my hair like I'm almost combing it with my hands, softening it. This will get rid of the "crunchy" look and leave the curls soft but not frizzy. Again, some testing has been done to ensure it doesn't crush while my hair is wet or dry. Sounds like a lot of work, but once you get the hang of it, it's worth it. I get a lot of complements to my curls. Thank you TIGI. SELLER: PLEASE UPDATE YOUR PHOTOS! UPDATE: After a bit of research on the TIGI website, the GREEN cap is now the new TIGI Foxy Curls formula. So I decided to try this new formula. This is my review of the GREEN Foxy Curls Cap. I used the same application principles as the WHITE lid to compare apples to apples. I admit I was a bit skeptical as they are so different. This new formula is much thinner and slightly lighter. I've found myself using less, so a big PRO! My hair feels a bit slimy when I apply it, but if the end result is what I want it doesn't matter. After it dried a bit, I "opened" it and the results were similar. It seems to control frizz a little better, but my curls seem heavier. I think I need to work on the amount I'm using. All in all I still give the GREEN cap 5 stars as the end result is very similar and I don't seem to use it that much now. But I prefer the WHITE cap. Maybe I just need to work a little more with the new formula. UPDATE: I've been using the green cap product for a few months now and I like it as much or better than the white cap. Again, I had to work on the amount I use. I use less with the green cap than with the white one. If I use too much, my hair looks a little rough. So you have to work with the amount and what works with your hair type. Still a big fan!
