UPDATE: 5/28/20 My husband didn't like the look of the stainless steel enema so he bought another jar from Jardli. This time the influx lasted a few months. But the glass broke again. The ends of the tubes are nice and thick, but there is a very weak point at the bend where the glass is paper thin. We are now on Yardley number three. Let's see how long the third one lasts. That's $60 wasted. ORIGINAL: This inflow looks good enough, although it arrived with a thin crack in the pipe. My husband had to install it immediately so there was no time to wait for a replacement. The hairline crack didn't seem to affect performance at all. The skimmer design worked well, if not very well. A disadvantage of glass is that it gets visibly dirty and requires frequent cleaning. After three weeks of use my husband removed the inlet for a routine cleaning and the hose broke and cut his thumb. $30 for three weeks usage. It seems a little expensive. Ordered a replacement stainless steel inlet with a (hopefully) better skimmer. It's a shame, because we really liked the look of the glass! It just lacked the stamina.
