My daughters have long hair that constantly tangles and tangles while sleeping, wearing hoodies/jackets, playing outside, swimming in the pool. Seriously, it's a constant struggle. Imagine huge, thick, nest-like knots where you start thinking there's an easier way: push through the knot or reach for scissors. I've used a hair dryer to clip or melt the rubber tips of other similar brushes, making the metal ends sharper. This has never happened with Wet Brush. For long hair, I recommend starting at the bottom and working your way up. You can also push the brush into the knowledge and slightly pull down by pulling the brush back. This will help untie the knot and then start again from the bottom. Oh, and it's a time saver. Trying to remove these knots with a regular brush can take 45 minutes. Note that this is a maximum of 10.
