Review on Black Shimano PD-T421 CLICK'R Pop Up Mechanism Pedals by Maurice Jimenez

This is the second set I have ordered for my wife in the last 90 days. He likes their easy removal and the fact that they are reversible with a rubber base so he can pedal without pinching. The problem it had (and because of this I returned the first set) is that after a few rides the pedals start to get annoying when cycling. Each turn of the pedal is a "click-click" - maybe that's why they're called "click-R" - but it's really annoying. Apparently they have a good reputation on this matter because I found many comments online about them. He swapped out the pedals for another standard set and the clicks are gone so we know it's the pedals. He'll work with them some more to see if he goes away, but if he doesn't we'll bring them back.
