Review on Winsor Newton University Round Handle Painting, Drawing & Art Supplies and Painting by Barbara Simmons

The brush I ordered is marked Winsor & Newton, University Round, 235 Series, 8. This isn't a #8 brush; it's huge. The eight should have a bristle width of about 1/4" and a bristle length of about 13/16" according to Blick and Jerry's Artarama brush charts. This beast has a bristle width of approximately 5/16" and 1.25" bristle length. The attached photos are a comparison to the Princeton Heritage #8 round. Winsor & Newton is a good brush but not the one I need. Thankfully, Revain offered a non-refundable refund for that.
