It works, but not with us
I have used them on my husband's back and shoulders to try and untie the knots he is getting. In order to ensure sufficient suction, we had to shave off all the hair in this area. He stated that he felt some relief while the cups were on, but the next day or two he only felt pain and the lumps never went away. We tried this for a couple of weeks before deciding it wasn't worth the trouble. We had high hopes. I don't think this is due to an inferior product. The product did exactly what it was advertised. The therapy wasn't what my husband needed to release tension in his back and shoulders.
