I took the youngest model 82B5008JRU Ryzen5 / 8/256. It's pretty heavy, by the way. I was looking for a new laptop for work: the usual software (yes, one chrome with a bunch of tabs is no longer so easy), simple video editing, a bunch of different things open at the same time. My "old" laptop is latitude on i7-9850H with mx150. This is a 14" not cheap business laptop. But in the "quiet" mode, it drops to 800 Hz. In the "normal" mode, it always makes noise like an airplane and heats up like an oven. With a light render, it hardly keeps the nominal frequencies. Right now I am writing a review with legion, it works silently, there is a latitude nearby, which has been locked for 30 minutes already, there the browser has just been opened with the site and a couple of instant messengers - and it makes noise all this time, it’s just NOISY. Specially opened to see what's with him - the percentage of the total is loaded by 5-15% :( Otherwise, he's very cool. I wanted to find something similar, not expensive and without problems with overheating. I studied the market a lot, I didn’t like anything for buying on credit: - bulky and frankly gaming in appearance - either a compromise solution like the Dell Vostro 7590 or Prestige 15 A10SC-213RU, which are compact, but get hot and noisy, and more expensive business models suffer from both heat and noise - I was not pleasantly surprised by the reviews from some Dell and Asus, in the reviews they complain about a rather loud creak / squeak of something there on the diagrams (some kind of inductors), which the manufacturer considers the norm o_0. On my dell it is, but not very loud, not to say what's in the way. But I would not want to take an incomprehensible risk out of the blue - according to reviews, most of them heat up and do not pull the processor frequencies, they are noisy, there are outdated models with USB 2 ports, lack of Type-C, or simply with data transfer through it (in modern times!), or soldered memory without the possibility of an upgrade, or do not install a second disk (it really hovers an external one to constantly connect), or the design is such that you need to disassemble the entire laptop for an upgrade, etc. everyone's zoo. It's great that this new product came out, just a normal laptop for everyday use. So far happy as an elephant :)
