Ideal for use in public USB charging ports. Prevents data theft and/or malware from being placed on your device. This will "block" data transfer and ONLY allow charging via USB cable. You connect this device to the end of your device's USB cable, and then plug the red end into a public USB port for charging. It's amazing and scary how some devices can install malware on your device just by charging it with a USB cable! It takes away some of the fear. I highly recommend you buy a few and store them in a variety of device bags, book bags/backpacks, suitcases, etc. Keep one of these, especially when travelling.
