I did a water test at home and compared tap water, water that went through our standard filter and water from a jug. The water in the DRAGONN water filter contained much lower concentrations of each negative chemical than the other two. The PH was also legally alkaline. I am also very satisfied with the customer service. I've been ordering 3 packs of replacement filters for a year and I received a bad batch in one order and they replaced it for me quickly and free of charge. Finally, the pitcher itself is well constructed; Raw water does not come up at all when the pot is tilted. I use a jug every day when I draw water from the sink while waiting for the water to get warm to wash dishes, and I use this water to fill our drinking jugs, water my pets, and my plants pour from inside and outside. I run about 2-3 gallons of water through this pitcher each day. Interestingly, I bought this because all my plants kept dying, and I suspected that our softened water, which is said to be filtered before it flows out of our faucets, was to blame. They are now thriving and ever since I saw the results of the water quality tests I performed I have been concerned about what my family was exposed to before we started filtering our drinking water with this thing!
