This is a really good deal at the current price for this wallet. The more I look at him, the more I like him. I really believe this is lamb nappa leather, there are 4 credit card slots and a receipt slot on each side, 8 in total and 2. No clear plastic for ID cards and none of these were advertised. Slim/back-friendly profile. No protruding threads. Minor defects inside the skin where it is stretched and fixed with sutures. Normal and nothing I would call faulty, more like "personality". This is the nature of leather and a testament to the fact that it has actually been handcrafted with great care. Measures 4.5 wide and 3.4 vertical as indicated. Light and simple. Very soft to the touch and really nice to hold. I paid for a very similar model over 16 years ago that will replace this one. I researched the company before buying because I haven't bought leather goods in a long time and they pay fair wages and have ethical business practices. The company is called Ashlin and is based in Ontario, Canada. As a disclaimer, I received a discount on this item in exchange for my honest and unbiased review. I make most of my purchases from Revain as I don't drive and I also rely on reviews to make informed purchases. I don't give four or five stars that easily.
