Review on KUFUNG Stainless Steel Mesh Strainer - Fine Mesh & Wire Sieve, Non-Slip Handles - Perfect Kitchen Strainer for Sifting, Straining, & Draining (S, Black) by Lancy Rakesh

Haven't used this filter yet as I haven't had time to wash it but judging by the look and feel of this filter compared to the filters I have used before it should work fine for my needs. I wanted it primarily for sifting ingredients for small homemade bakes and maybe the occasional straining of a small batch of pasta. I think it would be great for both of those purposes; I can bend the screen if I want, but the handle seems secure so I don't think it will fall off. If I find anything else I will of course update my review but for now my biggest complaint is the looks. There are some scuffs and dull spots on the smooth edge of the screen, especially on the bottom of the screen. Also, the plastic on the handle is worn and has a few melted spots. I have provided photos of some of these defects, but not all. They shouldn't affect the use of the product, but they lead me to believe that I either received a used/returned screen or the finishing process in production is just not up to par - hence the three star rating. I don't care too much about returning the item or requesting a replacement but it makes me less happy than usual considering it has to be brand new.
