This unit is great. It is well packaged to protect it in transit. There are simple instructions to be followed to assemble it. Assembled in 15 minutes including time to open the box. It's a beautiful natural wood finish, as are her shelves and bookshelves. People notice that she rocks. Yes, a little, but that's because he roller-skates. The device is delivered with the folding part already assembled. To get a good solid unit you will need to place the shelves in the metal brackets provided. There are slots on the underside of the shelves to prevent them from slipping. It also makes the device durable. If you don't have shelves in the bracket grooves, it gets pretty wobbly. My unit was a little upset. I simply loosened the screw mount a bit with a screwdriver until the shelf fits into the mount. Then I tightened the bracket again with a screwdriver. The device is beautiful, durable and functional. I don't know how people say it's hard. This is real wood, not chipboard. So it's lighter than many shelves. I once had to contact Winsome Wood support for a previous set of TV tables I had purchased. Save the Winsome model number as you will need it to get support. As soon as I received this they sent me a replacement table and it was perfect. I would rate the quality of the product as high to excellent and the customer support as very good!
