I recommend watching a few videos before first use. There's a right way and a wrong way to use them, and my first workaround was wrong. I watched the video and realized I loaded them wrong and I had to put the extra strap through the ratchet and they were perfect. I bought some wobbly and very heavy cast iron stoves that I need to transport to a trucking company. I used rope and elastic to get them home, but the trip to the trucker was longer, so I left them in the back of my truck for the few days it took to deliver this kit. After figuring out how to use them properly, I was able to use all 4 to attach them to my truck for a 1 hour trip to the trucker. After unloading the bag they came in, it was handy to tuck them back in and put them under the back seat of my truck. They will be with me for a very long time and for the price I think this is a quality product that everyone with a truck should have. Ropes and bungee cords aren't the best way to tie heavy things together and I should have bought them a long time ago.
