We have at least six of these blankets in different patterns for our twins. They're soft, thick, warm, and big enough to last a long time. When our babies were first born they weighed less than two kilograms each and we were able to make very durable diapers from these blankets. The flannel is of a very high quality and the texture of the fabric helps the diaper stay in place. Our babies are now six months old and we have stopped swaddling them but we use blankets to wrap them so they can snuggle up to each other. Seams and patterns are well tolerated by frequent washing, and stains are removed without special treatment. We have Mod Circles, Owls and a few other designs mostly in gray and I love how subtle they are. I cannot recommend these blankets enough, especially if you live in a cooler climate or are expecting your baby in the winter. I'm sure they will serve us for many years.
