Review on Computer headset ASUS ROG Delta Type-C, white by Agata Dbrowska ᠌

Dissatisfied with this product, bad to use.

I expected a completely different sound from a headset for 12k, especially after all the reviews and reviews about how cool it sounds. I understand that the point is primarily in positioning in games, but it does not seem to me that for the sake of a minimal / imaginary advantage, it is worth sacrificing everything else. The Logitech G430, HyperX Cloud, and even the Siberia 200 sound nicer overall, but cost two to three times less. I decided for myself that in the future I will only buy ordinary stereo headphones and a separate microphone for them for 500, "gaming" headsets are an absolutely meaningless thing, no matter how much they cost.

Pros
  • Qualitatively made, backlight fire, interchangeable ear pads, very cool microphone
Cons
  • They don’t sit on the head very well, the software (asus rog armory) is completely miserable - it doesn’t work in half of the applications, it constantly crashes when trying to adjust something. The built-in surround is a kind of mockery - the front virtual "column" in the test sounds exactly the same as the middle and back ones. The music sounds absolutely flat, the sound hurts the ears in places, some heavy mitol turns into mush at a volume above average, the basses are cool, yes. Drumming or classical guitar sound good. I don't even know what to say about games. Without twists in the equalizer, they sound like ordinary headphones, with twists and surround they sound strange - you can hear better, but it’s not easy to understand where exactly the sound comes from, maybe it’s a matter of habit, or maybe the software just doesn’t work properly on my computer. I did not tempt fate, I handed it back to the store.
