I like it! What a handy little design! Honestly, this shouldn't be your first flint and steel. I was a Boy Scout and made some flint and magnesium fires, so I kind of knew what to do. It serves as a very functional backup that looks great, weighs next to nothing, and worked on the third hit. (The more times you use a firearm, the more it "breaks" so the next time I use it, it hits the first time.) If I could change one thing I'd recommend a slightly thinner cord, but I know that leather only gets better with age. I know I will buy them as a gift as 3 of my friends are already jealous and I only wore them for 2 hours.
