. I installed them on my 2005 Mazda 3 2.3L engine. In this car, the spark plugs are powered by coil packs that sit directly on top of the spark plugs, so nothing else needs to be swapped out when buying new spark plugs. Took me about 25 minutes to replace all four spark plugs. They are located directly above the engine and are easily accessible. The only specialty tool I would recommend is a torque wrench, which can torque up to 17 lb-ft. Some dealerships charge over $200 to replace spark plugs, so this is a great candidate for a job that's quick, easy, and requires little (if any) cleaning that you can try for yourself and save a lot of money.
