Firstly, the fact that this thing blows on the sides and sucks in from the rear means it doesn't filter the air very well. The air flow blows directly behind the device and mainly sucks in fresh air. I feel like it would be better if I pressed it against the wall to let the air bubble circulate in my room which is so silly because then I can't even see the front light or read the display and it gets silly look. In addition, like many tower cleaners of this brand, the fan works at certain speeds. Don't buy this because of the warranty, I demanded the warranty that they replaced it with another faulty unit that someone else returned. The only good model they have is the 4825. I have had 4 other models and they all had the same issues. The clatter of fans, the smell of burning plastic. And I doubt ultraviolet light does anything useful at all. Avoid this brand.
