I cleaned my original Dyson filter with water and some Dawn dish soap. Then I read that it should only be washed with water. I put a cleaned filter on my Dyson V10 and it started pulsing indicating it was clogged. There was no clogging, but I was afraid I'd ruined my Dyson with Down on the filter. Luckily I just screwed up the filter. This replacement filter works great! Super suction power and now no more warning lights.
