Arrived next day as promised. Sturdy box, all parts available, no damage. Instructions are minimal (I'm being friendly here). The setup is very simple. An HDMI cable from each PC to the set top box (not included) and a USB cable to each PC (included). Third HDMI cable from the box to the shared monitor (you must have this cable). I have a wireless keyboard and mouse combo that I plugged into the keyboard port. If you have a separate mouse, there is a separate connector. Also works with cable. It is bus powered so nothing needs to be connected. Make sure the two PCs are powered off as Windows needs to see them at startup to function properly. My shared monitor is 4K and I don't notice any signal degradation from the desktop but a slight drop off from my laptop which is a 1920. PC switching takes 10 seconds but is very stable. I haven't used hotkeys for switching yet, the buttons on the front are more convenient. There have only been two mouse or keyboard freezes since installation. It seems to happen when switching back and forth quickly. Has no sound transmission. No hum, no heat out of the box.
