1) Ideal size for travel/vacation. Since you're not using it for work or professional use, you don't need the larger 15.6-inch or bulky 17-inch sizes. It fits in my suitcase, carry-on, backpack, bag, etc. It's so small that it can even be carried outside as a personal item to save carry-on space, which is what I did. Just grab a case or mini messenger/leisure bag to throw over your shoulders and you're done! 2) Super cheap - less than $300. It's in the price range of Chromebooks, which I also highly recommend, but since it's a full-fledged PC, you can install programs like Office or better email programs as web apps or apps. 3) In addition to No. 1, it has a sturdy body and you can fall several meters without fear, so you can even wear it sleeveless and not worry. In doing so, they had to add a bit of weight and bulk to the overall footprint, but since it's so small and light anyway, you probably won't notice. It's also water resistant - NOT waterproof, and you can't pour water on it - but if you spill drinks on it and wipe it off right away, it won't damage the laptop. As long as you don't let the water settle in the circuit, you're fine. 4) Ultimately, this laptop works for simple everyday tasks like surfing the web, checking email, writing some emails or documents. Marvelous. I didn't notice any slowdown or lag when launching the Netflix app and trying to do other things with it, like opening a bunch of web browsers. So make sure you just have fun and don't use other programs when doing some hardware-intensive tasks like watching movies and YouTube. The webcam, while not very high quality, is at least pretty cool since you can rotate it fully. I don't know why you would want this other than being paranoid and doing it so hackers can't see your face when you use it or maybe to take pictures or record something from the other side. Some other things I didn't like 6GB of RAM instead of 8GB and 128GB of storage instead of 256GB. The bezels fit a modern laptop pretty snugly - I have a feeling if you want 11.6 inches you can't shrink it much more, or if you keep the size you can't stretch the screen to 12.5 inches. The screen itself is also quite dim and washed out, so I don't recommend using it outdoors unless absolutely necessary.
