I brought this to try with an external TV for a sporting event. It kind of worked, but I can see what the use case is for. The adapter was able to plug into my cable box indoors and transmit to the TV not too far on the other side of the wall outside. However, it should NOT be THAT FAR out. While this works, I think it's better suited for use in a bar, restaurant or office where someone wants to project the same thing onto multiple TVs without having to run cables everywhere. . Fast video can get choppy, especially if it's not that far away, and 50ft I'd say would be more for static images in the same large room. In general, all this "works", but do not try to use it for sports. how i did it
