After seeing all the light strips on Youtube, I wanted to try one out without spending a lot of money. It has basic features and gives you a good idea of what the best devices offer. Three color temperatures, a 60-minute timer, and on/off controls are located via touch buttons on the top and front of the device. For the main light source I would give 4 stars but subtracted a star for two reasons. The controls are hard to see and almost have to remember where they are. Oddly, you need an outside light to even see where the buttons are. Since it simply sits on top of the monitor, fumbling with the button can move the device. My device is slightly curved so the left side is about 1 inch higher than the right. The block is mostly plastic, so there's no way to bend it to attach it. I mount it just a little at an angle and it looks good enough.
