This is definitely a good buy for me as I bought another car and couldn't use the vented phone holder anymore. I will say that so far it works well for what I need. However, for some others, there may be limitations due to their own eyesight or the placement of the mug on their car. The phone is harder to see when the cup holder is far away, or it may block the buttons on the dashboard. It does a great job of holding the phone in the desired position, which is why I gave it 5 stars. However, I would suggest that if you're looking to purchase such a holder, you take a look at the location of the cup holder you're going to use to see if it suits you before making your purchase.
