We have used this product in our black van tank for years and it works great! There is no smell in the bathroom and we even use regular toilet paper and it ruins it every time. Not sure why other people have had issues, but if you put it down you need to make sure you fill the bowl with water and dissolve the sachet before rinsing it out. The manufacturer recommends adding two gallons of water, but we typically only make one bowl. If you buy 50 packs and don't use them for a year or so, I recommend storing them in a temperature controlled environment, otherwise the packs will become very hard and difficult to dissolve.
