Better than I thought. I thought that white would be very transparent due to its "cheapness" but it isn't, it's opaque. All yellow and red colors for school children are translucent or transparent. Even professional yellows are a bit transparent, so this isn't a problem. Grumbacher is the only one more obscure. However, Viridian is not Viridian, it is Phthalo Green. ALL acrylic viridians are phthalo green. This is because true viridian pigment (PG18) is not compatible with acrylic binders. The only downside I have with this color is that it's very shiny. Too much of. I personally prefer semi-matte.
