I've read reviews where people said they were disappointed with the amount of texture, but that wasn't the case at all. It's a subtle but noticeable texture and I definitely don't feel like they slip out of my hands, that's the whole point. The material is strong and they appear to be a little tighter than the originals. . I've already removed and replaced them once when my new faceplate arrived and they now seem just as strong as the first time I put them on. I'll probably buy them again next time I tune the controller.
