I've read reviews where people said they were disappointed with the amount of texture, but that wasn't the case at all. It's a subtle but noticeable texture and I definitely don't feel like they slip out of my hands, that's the whole point. The material is strong and they appear to be a little tighter than the originals. . Neither of them look amazing on a controller, but they feel even better. The improved grip, when my hands get a little sweaty, is a big step up from the basic controller grip -- even compared to the elite group of controllers I'm used to. I have so many friends who ask where I got it from because they want to order it for themselves after using mine.
