Sounds Great! best in my review

I am surprised and delighted with how satisfied I am with this little bookshelf stereo. I spent a lot of time shopping online for a budget priced unit that has all the features I was looking for. I decided to give this one a try because the price was modest, it was returnable within 30 days, and I really liked the fact that it is a repurposed car stereo. I've been playing it almost nonstop far a almost a week and have only found 2 things to criticize: 1) I tested the fm radio and it works but I was getting a bit of static. This might be the fault of the antenna but I haven't worried about it because I'm only interested in receiving NPR broadcasts and I can receive those perfectly over the internet using my phone and then bluetooth them to the stereo. 2) The control buttons on the unit are not very intuitive and will take me awhile to get used to. For example, it was a bit confusing when I was pairing my phone with the stereo via bluetooth. I was successful on my third attempt to follow the steps in the provided instruction booklet. Once paired, it sounded great! One feature that I wasn't expecting is that this unit can read my home made MP3 CDs. I've got a lot of music in that format so I'm really happy about that. Overall, very happy!

Pros
  • Intuitive controls for easy operation
Cons
  • It may be too heavy or bulky to move easily
