Review on 🧶 Knit 50 Gifts for Every Occasion: All-Season Designs Using Universal Yarn Deluxe Worsted by Karla Richter

I am disappointed with this book. My first project was a rabbit hat. This pattern was knitted in flat knit and turned out to be a complete failure. As I had already promised, I made another hat (having discarded the first one) in the round. It was much easier than knitting a flat knit with stitches and fitted better. The second pattern I made was egg tips. The 2nd RT instructions are for four stitches, but the setting is for two stitches. After making the adjustment, I made six hats pretty quickly. Tonight I completely wasted the evening by starting a cute and casual hat. The pattern is cast to 144 stitches and states that the pattern repeat is 18 stitches, but it is actually 19 repeats. I pulled out the first row and knitted it a second time before realizing it was a pattern error and not mine. This is another template I need to customize. Does every template have such errors? The only reason I'm giving this book three stars is because of how cute it is. Fortunately, I'm an experienced knitter and can adapt, but I will not recommend this book to my students or less experienced knitters.
