Suitable for sealing with gouache

Recently discovered gouache painting. And I've drawn quite a bit since we've been in lockdown. I wanted to keep or seal my gouache paintings because water reactivates them. While doing research I found that the artist recommends this product for watercolor abs gouache because it seals the gouache and protects it from reactivation and staining your paintings. I don't hang my paintings, but now you can hang them without glass. The app simply wipes it off with a lint-free towel or tissue. I use a gloved hand with 2-3 fingers in a circular motion with the "wax" method. A few points about this - if you like the matte finish of gouache, don't use it. A little more than the satin finish remains on it. It also darkens your image a bit. It's like if you've ever smeared grease on a brown paper bag - it gets a little darker. It helps - I let it dry for about 3-4 days. You can buff it, but be sure to buff without rough scrubbing, you may be able to pick up some paint. Use gentle pressure to buff if you want a shine.
