Art magazine pages no longer stick together!

A huge container that will probably last a lifetime. I have this to rub the pages of my art magazine so they don't stick together. Many of my pages contain acrylic or matte gel work. I just rub it in a thin layer with a paper towel and it gets the job done.

A must have for your art magazine

This product makes a great addition to the pages of your art magazine. It runs smoothly and easily, sealing the page and preventing pages from sticking together. Apply a thin layer with a clean cloth. It dries/hardens quickly on my magazine pages. It is also a good finish for artworks. Highly recommended!

Watercolor protected, great wax!

This material is great for your watercolors. Applies smoothly and dries well to protect your paintings from water stains. You don't have to use glass with this protection either. You can use glass, but if you don't like the look of glass in your painting, then this is the way to go.

Working on watercolors

I love this shop. I wanted to try to cover some watercolors with a protective layer that doesn't go behind the glass and doesn't smudge them at all when applied. I was afraid this would happen but I put on a light coat and wiped it down with a clean rag and they have a lovely clear matte finish that doesn't affect the watercolor at all. You want to apply and buff at the same time, or it kind of dries you out if you wait too long.

Pros
  • Beautiful packaging
Cons
  • Vulgarity

Excellent fixer for artwork

It lives up to its reputation. Very easy to use. A little goes a long way. I needed this to print some of my chalk and watercolor drawings as I ship some of these on cardstock and they are processed a lot. It doesn't bleed or smudge. There's a subtle sheen after you let it dry and buff, which I like for a few things. I apply it with my finger and the application is very smooth. I think it could be applied with a brush, or you could use a cloth or thin makeup sponge, but for me that would be…

Suitable for sealing with gouache

Recently discovered gouache painting. And I've drawn quite a bit since we've been in lockdown. I wanted to keep or seal my gouache paintings because water reactivates them. While doing research I found that the artist recommends this product for watercolor abs gouache because it seals the gouache and protects it from reactivation and staining your paintings. I don't hang my paintings, but now you can hang them without glass. The app simply wipes it off with a lint-free towel or tissue. I use a…

Use with watercolors with major limitations

Cold weather makes it difficult to apply sealer to my small watercolors that I use on postcards, so I decided to give Dorland a try. I have read several reviews and seen videos of artists using this product for their watercolor paintings. Dorland definitely seals, although it also tends to activate the watercolor a bit, so a light and sensible application to the painting is required. With my watercolors, most of the white watercolor paper is part of the background, which is why I noticed some…
