I've spent gym clothes, club jerseys and work clothes on this to see if it works better than the Clorox 2 and baking soda combo I've been using. And so it was. Almost everything has been cleared of the stench, although some things stink for a while. Few things to know #1 I read somewhere that you can't use fabric softener with this detergent. It won't hurt anything, but it won't help either. #2 Make sure you are happy with the scent you choose (if not, use clear if you don't have a scent). Strong smell, especially wet from clothes. It is not intended to mask the smell of clothes like some detergents do. It's just chemicals, like dry cleaning. Overall very satisfied.
