Charge SLOWLY, there can be no shadow!
SUPER slow charging for a basic phone, not to mention the external battery it's designed for. It must be in DIRECT sunlight, don't drop shade on it or it won't work. The cables that came with it didn't want to charge the power bank until I tried all the adapters to make something that worked. Spend money on a generator and you end up getting more for your money. I wanted this to work for our hiking week or longer but was afraid it wouldn't perform much on overcast days! It doesn't store power charges in the panels, so you can't even charge.
