I do CrossFit and sometimes have problems with callouses. I've used this a few times and really feel like it doesn't promote healing. It can be compared to O'Keefe's Working Hands Creme, but I really think WOD hand care is smoother and more lotion-like than O'Keefe's, which I like more. I can buy working hands for $5. It was too expensive for the product. Now, I'm not the type to scream "essential oils," but surprisingly, essential oils have helped me a lot more. I applied a few drops of frankincense and lavender directly to the callus and let it sit for a few minutes, then applied lotion (or you can mix it with lotion) to it and let it sit. Don't rub it until it hardens for a long time (5-10 minutes). It seemed to help and I can say it heals much quicker than this lotion. I really wanted to love it but it doesn't work for me. As a preventative measure, I've heard that most people shave their calluses to prevent breakage, mine never seem to get to that point, but if you're struggling with this type of problem it might be something to look into .
