I am very quick to criticize a product of poor quality and I am just as quick to give a good review. At first glance they are solid and slim, most lengthening devices are huge where the tip goes in. Some of the negative reviews said the magnet was weak, they wanted it to lift the car. You tuck the tip in, it won't fall out. The only thing I haven't done yet to test it is use it in my impact drill. On others I've used in a hammer drill it's difficult to pull out the tips, I think it depends on the softness of the metal. I will update when there is an update, the magnet is stronger than I thought. I used one of those 3/8 wrenches, not only did it hold it securely in place, it also held the big screws I was driving. I always ended up buying those brand name socket sets and after using them in my hammer drill I had to practically use pliers to pry the wrench tip out. It's been working fine so far, so I put the old one in a drawer and made it my impact drill.
