A compromise camera for me. They tried to capture the feel of the Nikon F3 with the concept and features of a digital body. Unfortunately, I think they lag a little behind both. The best thing about the old F cameras is the all-metal body and feel. This camera is much more plastic in comparison. It's still well done, it just doesn't inspire me like F3 does. Compared to a DSLR, the operating layout is NOT suitable for fast field operation. I can ignore that with old school film cameras because they are very well built and fun. DF just seems awkward. Make no mistake, the camera images are very appealing. I'd rather just use a DSLR or a modern mirrorless body
