In automatic mode, it works very quietly.

We used it at level 2 at night. It seems to reduce airborne pollen as my wife and I have had fewer sinus problems since we started using it. The noise the machine makes at level 2 is stable and a good source of white noise. I feel like I sleep better with it, both for the air purification and the white noise.
