We are redecorating and this rug fits our home beautifully. It is a fun and young looking pattern, which is what we want our home to reflect. This has a good thickness and plushness to it. We have vinyl floor but it doesn't slip and slide because we have a heavy coffee table on top of it, so we decided to skip the rug gripper. We lined it vertically from our couch and coffee table, which leaves some space for anyone and everyone to sit on the "top" of it. Our baby loves to sit on this rug and play with his toys. Our dog loves to snuggle on it as well. Bottom line is, our whole family loves this rug and how comfortable to the touch it is.Make sure to let it air out for a little bit when you first open the packaging because there will be a slight smell, which is to be expected from any furniture and things like this. Within a day or under 24 hours the smell was gone!
