I bought these to help me spot deer at night while driving my daily commute through a rural area.You get a bright light for about 30-40 feet, but it dies off REALLY fast after that and doesn't do much for visibility beyond that, even on clear nights. I would cycle through my regular headlights with these on and off and you could hardly notice that they were on. It is not at all enough to help prevent a deer strike in a vehicle that is moving along at 55-60mph. I was suspicious of buying something so inexpensive but thought I would give it a shot. I was wrong. I will be buying a new setup that may cost more, but will help actually do what I want it to do. I will probably mount these on the back of my cab, so I can light up trailers at night, as they will project that far.The mounting hardware is easy enough to install, but it is really flimsy and I don't expect it will last for very long. Additionally, they range of adjustment was GARBAGE. You were extremely restricted on where you could position the lights. I ended up having to bend the heck out of the hardware in order to point them where I wanted them. Not very satisfied with this purchase.edit: This company just contacted me and offered to refund my money if I removed my review. Obviously, I didn't take them up on the offer, but theses likely have an artificially inflated rating by "buying off" bad reviews.
