Smooth (parchment-like) finish
Note that this is actually a parchment (smooth) finish. It's not misleading like they say, but I wasn't paying enough attention. Paper has no teeth. The small image on the cover looks like it was taken on a rugged surface, but you don't get that. So I don't think it's suitable for charcoal or pastel. I don't think I would use it for watercolor as well, although maybe you could if you don't mind a smooth surface. This is good thick paper and I like the tone. I think I use it for colored pencil. I'll try pen and ink and then we'll see. It's not a waste of time, just not quite what I was hoping for. But I didn't read carefully enough.
