The magnets are not very strong.
I bought these because I'm having trouble using the smaller claw clasps and hook rings. I was very excited when I received my magnetic clasps as I thought they would be a lot easier to put on and take off. I was realizing that the magnets weren't very strong when my necklace suddenly flew off and fell to the ground, cracking the stone. I was very disappointed that these magnets weren't strong enough to hold a small crystal chain. My daughter used magnetic clasps which are much stronger and hold very firmly. I should have read the reviews before I bought them.
