Review on Room DVB-T2 antenna REMO BAS-5114-USB Mercury 2.0 by Hemant Hemant ᠌

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Not at all what I expected.Terrible!

So it turns out that it is not worth the money, since the cheap Chinese passive spoke antenna itself for 100 wins in all respects: both in appearance and ease of installation, and there is no need for additional power for the amplifier. In the photo you can see which I had to fence, and even with such an arrangement, half a meter from the window, the reception floats depending on the weather, in bad weather - the reception is terrible

Pros
  • I liked the description on the site, the antenna itself and its proposed functionality
Cons
  • The antenna would be dangerously active, it doesn’t catch anything either in the depths of the apartment or at the window, from the windowsill only when the TV set-top box was connected, it began to catch 20 channels, the power supply of the amplifier is 5 volts, the cord is short about a meter with a usb connector, the antenna does not imply any fasteners, therefore it is problematic to install, it is necessary to both fasteners and power, and power is also necessary even when using the set-top box, without it it does not catch anything even through the set-top box.
