This product has several design flaws that have caused me to throw it away. First is the quality of the whole product under the baseboard. I have an older smaller metal shovel but you can feel how much heavier it is compared to this product. Metal is lighter and looks cheaper. Second, with at least 3 tablespoons, the scraper blade inside the spoon doesn't go edge to edge inside the spoon when the handle is squeezed. A little over half. This is not a "defect" of my packaging - this is how the scoop works. Taking those two factors into account, using a cookie or pastry scoop, sticking the scoop into the dough and then squeezing the handle to take the ball out and place it on the baking sheet didn't work. It gets stuck (very easily) and cannot be used in this way due to the factors described above.
