This was the right size for my dog's doghouse, so it's dimensionally the right size, but it's far too flat and squashy for a dog of his size (about 50 lbs). It's so flat, I initially thought it was just an empty cover. I'll have to put in a foam insert, or it will essentially just be like he's laying on a folded up towel. It would also be a nice pillow topper for his existing bed; it just won't give much comfort to anything but a small dog or cat on its own (except perhaps over soft carpet?).The faux fur top feels very luxe and silky, so as a cover, it's not bad. The bottom surface seems less durable, however.
